The Kenya Tsetse & Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council (KENTTEC) CEO Dr. Seth Onyango was among the National Government officials accompanying the Principal Secretary (PS) State Department for Livestock Developmemt (SDLD), @Hon.Jonathan Mueke during a meeting held at Mutonguni Gardens resort, Kabati in Kitui West sub-county to sensitize National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) of Kitui County on National Government projects implemented under the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

The PS sensitized the Administrators about the 5 Pillars of BETA and further programs that enable the 3 value chains identified in the Agriculture Transformation and Inclusive Growth pillar namely Breed improvement, Disease control, Feedlot, Honey production, Livestock restocking and Livestock Identification and Traceability System (LITS) programs.

The KENTTEC CEO Dr.Seth Onyango,on his part informed participants about the mandate and presence of KENTTEC in Kitui as one of the 38 tsetse infested counties in Kenya.
